DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL tells the moving story of James Carter (Mahershala Ali), a devoted single father who has spent the last decade raising his spirited daughter, Lily (newcomer Saniyya Sidney), after the loss of his wife. When James is diagnosed with a rare illness, he embarks on a final, extraordinary journey to create a lifetime of memories in the time they have left—teaching Lily the lessons, laughter, and love she’ll need to carry forward without him.

But when Lily discovers her father’s hidden journal—filled with unsent letters, dreams for her future, and a secret promise he made to her mother—she sets out on her own mission: to give him one last miracle before it’s too late.
